Love is love – Gay Wedding in Venice

2018 will bring lot of new work and events to my profession: many couples have already hired me for their wedding day and others are getting in contact with me now to book their photo shooting.

Thanks to my work, I’m meeting many people, different couples with different stories, all waiting for the day they’ll say “Yes!”.

However, among all these couples there is one in particular with which I already feel I have a sort of special preference: soon this year I’ll have the honor of photographing a gay wedding, the first since I started doing this wonderful job.

To me this is going to be an important occasion, a moment in which not only a same-sex marriage will be celebrated, but it will also be the day when, once again, the importance of civil rights will be applied.

In this time of election campaign in which some politicians are threatening to modify or abolish such an important law, a civil right required for years by the entire Italian LGBT community, be a witness of this same sex wedding will be important to remind once again that civil rights are human rights, and that Love is Love.

This amazing couple is getting married on Valentine’s Day, and on this very symbolic day I will inaugurate the 2018 weddings season: it must surely be a good omen!
